It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Logbook

Hum, yes. I should be reading my book so I can write my 'review' on it tomorrow for Father's Day, or working on one of my numerous assignments.. So I end up tweaking my CSS again..

Please tell me what you think of the journal layout!

Any problems, any eyesores etc. Mind you, personally I like this one more, it's easier to use, less 'boxey' (full of boxes) and busy.

Normal life goes on with me. In a week I will have my study break. Next Saturday night I'm also going to see Varekai from Cirque du Soleil with my boyfriend!! I can't wait!

I paid for those tickets last year so you can tell how long I've been waiting for it to finally arrive!

Sometimes I can be really *headdesk* kinda stupid. I blame being 100% concentrated on my job for hours. You ask yourself.. so what did I do?

At work today I had a customer ask me if we had any books on Maureen Fish. I said I didn't know the author and if he'd hang on one sec I'd be able to search it for him. Seconds later I ask if he knows what kind of books she may have written, eg. fiction, cooking etc. He says, no I want Maureen Fish. I nodded, thinking I'd help him out once I'd finished the transaction and only then did it hit me that he was after marine fish..

Still playing around with my new CSS..

I have a plan.

Since I haven't done *anything* from the 100 challenge, and no Harry Potter fanart (quite surprising actually, considering I'm a huge fan) I'm going to combine the 2 together. Sort of like *makani's chapter drawings. This means that I'll be drawing Harry Potter 'moments', only one per chapter (but probably not every chapter) and naming it according to one of the topics from the 100 challenge.

I also plan on drawing something from a book showing steps on drawing different animals (among other things) once a day (although I probably won't do it every day, but I might make up for it and do a couple in one go). This way I hope to get some practise in as well, on a daily basis.

Of course I'll probably also be inspired by other things, competitions etc so there isn't going to be a time limit to when I'll be finished, but it's just to give an idea of what I have up my sleeves.

If you want me to draw something, have a request or want to trade even.. well I'm open for them.
