The last book, Deathly Hallows. And it's finished. Never to get that feeling of exhilaration while reading it for the first time, wishing it never to end. I loved it. I can't decide yet if it's my favourite or not (at the moment Prisoner of Azkaban is), but it's a definite second otherwise.
My favourite character dies, but we don't even find out the specifics. Maybe I don't want to know. I think it's a perfect ending to a perfect series. I can see what Jo was trying to get through to the readers, and it was beautifully written. Cheers Jo!
It had so many funny bits in it!! OMG Peeves.. hilarious.
We had people lined up from 6am outside the shopping centre (Western Australia opened at 7am Saturday). It was raining, dark, and not particularly the most cheery setting, but people were polite and happy to get their copy. I went dressed as Ginny Weasley, and we had a live owl (brown barn owl), but I think the hype wasn't as big as it could have been. Oh well, I still had heaps of fun. We sold out of copies in the afternoon.
I had so many theories correct, but my biggest one, was completely off, although it still could have fit perfectly. My views on Snape were spot on though.
