A baby dragon hatching from a Christmas bauble-like egg..

I'm into Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.. I think its the cutest design.. Wanted Christmas colours and it already had reindeer horns, so a red/brown colouring. And I couldn\'t resist giving it a yellow glowing belly. :D

Coloured pretty quickly overall, a mixture between a speedpaint and a more intense piece. It took a few goes too before I finally like how it was going to be coloured.

:pointr: ~6 hours in total, not sure..
:pointr: Sketched initially in pencil, coloured digitally with Photoshop CS3 and my Bamboo Fun Wacom tablet
